// THE COMPANY STORY

Once upon a time...

<!-- there was an IT consultant with a dream; a dream of starting an IT staffing and recruiting company that could provide superior technical resources to the Southern California IT community. In order to do this and stand out from all the other similar companies there was needed something that would set this company apart.

Q: What was it that was lacking in most IT staffing and recruiting companies?

A: A fundamental understanding, commitment, and hands-on experience with the very technology that the people they were providing had.

In short, most of the other IT staffing and recruiting companies employees were not IT people themselves, simply employees with sales, marketing, financial, and other non-technical backgrounds. How can non-technical people with no understanding of the skills required in the IT field propery recruit, interview, evaluate, and provide skilled resources? They can't.

The dream was realized in 2004 when Ronald Landers and three other people from the IT community formed IT Professionals, Incorporated.

Staffing, recruting, development, and consulting by IT people for IT people.

It's not rocket science, it's common sense! -->

{Normalization}

<!--
Q: What are the principles involved in normalizing data to third normal form?.

A: Data elements, once arranged into relations such as Customer, Employee, etc. can be normalized to third normal form by applying the following principles:

1st Normal Form: A relation is said to be in first normal form then there are no repeating groups.

2nd Normal Form: A relation is said to be in second normal form when it is first in first normal, and there are no partial dependencies (only possible with composite primary key).

3rd Normal Form: A relation is said to be in third normal form when it is first in second normal, and there are no transitive dependencies (a non-key attribute dependent upon another non-key attribute).
